This is what we are looking for:

Finishing worker – Shell maker – Mould maker – Moulder – Moulder – Demoulder – Coremaker

We are currently looking for several people to fill different production stations:

Day laborer in finishing (Monday to Thursday from 6am to 3pm, Friday from 6am to 12 :

  • Remove the cores from the pieces using the pitter;
  • Cut the feeds and burr on the parts using a band saw and/or chainsaw;
  • Sandblast and/or clean parts using a sandblaster, milling machine, grinding machine and/or other tools;
  • Put the finished parts through the shot blasting machine and/or soap machine;
  • Remove all defective parts from the production line.


Shellfish
(Monday to Wednesday from 6:00 am to 6:00 pm or from 6:00 pm to 6:00 am – night bonus 2$) :

  • Pour a liquid aluminum alloy into a metal mold, unmold the piece, inspect it and then let it cool in a basket;
  • Operate a hydraulic tilt table and/or operate a permanent mold machine;
  • Clean the cores and maintain the mold;
  • Maintain or adjust production parameters (temperature, rate, speed and quantity).

Two productivity bonuses are offered for the position of Coquilleur :
1- Bonus if quotas are reached (+10% of base salary);
2- $1 bonus when two molds are made at the same time.

Mould maker (Monday to Wednesday from 6am to 6pm)

  • Clean, maintain and install molds;
  • Adjust the molds on the tables and set the various hydraulic, pneumatic and electromechanical components;
  • Dismantle the moulds;
  • Replace the metal colors (shells) during their breaks;
  • Move various equipment using the forklift;
  • Change the baskets of the shellers and supply them with ingots;
  • Put away the molds and identify them.


Molder (Monday 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., Tuesday to Thursday 6:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. and Friday 6:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. or Monday to Thursday from 3:30 to 2:00 a.m. – 2$ evening/night bonus) :

  • Using the tracking sheet, use the template plate corresponding to the production plan;
  • Prepare the material needed to make the mold (equipment and materials);
  • Open the mold and insert the cores, if necessary, then close the mold;
  • Place the mold on the conveyor so that the caster can cast the parts.


Foundry
(Monday to Thursday from 3:30 pm to 2:00 am- 2$ evening/night bonus) :

  • Preheat the crucibles at the beginning of the day;
  • Melt the alloy at the right temperature (see follower);
  • Add nitrogen or other products, depending on the alloy, during melting;
  • Plan the castings according to the space requirements of each molder.


Demoulder
(Monday to Thursday from 15:30 to 2:00 – 2$ evening/night bonus) :

  • Take the moulds that have been poured onto the conveyor belt and transport them to the vibrating sieve;
  • Separate the molds according to the type of sand, black or recycled;
  • Using a hammer, tap on the feeds to remove the sand;
  • Using a pitter, aim at the feeders to remove the core;
  • Notify supervisor promptly upon observation of a casting defect.

Nucleator (Monday to Thursday from 15:30 to 2:00 – 2$ evening/night bonus) :

  • Using the tracking sheet, use the core box corresponding to the production plan.
  • Prepare the material needed to make the cores (mix Solosil with sand, put in buckets).
  • Place the core box on the work surface and make the core with the sand.
  • Turn out, clean the cores and prepare them before painting.
  • Paint the cores and store them so that they are available for the molders.
  • Store the core boxes in the appropriate place.
  • Operate a shell-core machine (crowning) – coated sand or LAEMPE.
  • Install the core box on the machine and adjust the machine.
